We are currently looking for a qualified Machine Operator for a company located in Hardeeville, SC. 

Pay: (DOE)

Schedule: M-F 4pm-12am

Job Responsibilities: 

• Operate large fabrication equipment to produce steel components to specification
• Set up and adjust machines for each run, including tooling changes and program loading
• Read shop drawings and verify dimensions, holes, copes, and cuts against the print
• Inspect finished parts for quality and report defects to the shift lead
• Perform daily startup checks and routine machine cleaning
• Keep production records and material tags accurate for each run
• Follow all safety procedures and shop rules

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience operating one or more of the following: press brake, plasma burn table, robotic beam/structural steel cutting line, beamline, or similar large steel fabrication equipment
• Ability to read and interpret structural shop drawings
• Comfortable using tape measure, square, and basic measuring tools
• Welding experience is a plus
• Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently after setup
