Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a well-established and reputable Precision Machining company in Beamsville, ON. This growing, supportive, and expanding organization has a robust team, looking to add a key player to this hands-on repair role.

The Millwright Mechanic will engage with the Team to help develop new equipment / fixtures and manage as well as oversee the repair, and continuous improvement within this manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient production, quality and adherence to company and safety standards.

Job Duties: 

• Following a monthly maintenance plan and program, adhering to safety checks, audits, testing of machines, repair, upkeep.
• Building maintenance tasks ca include lighting changes, working on compressors, pumps, motors, small electrical repairs, odds/ends upkeep.
• Repairing pneumatics, testing units, working on fixture or small appliance repairs. The company manufactures various values and pumps, knowledge of control valves would be an asset.
• Continuous improvement plans, setting goals and targets, utilizing outside vendors and tradespeople when needed
• Work on various facility and machine upkeep projects, largely independent work, learning from experienced staff.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of machine maintenance and repair experience - ability to be mentored, trained, and coached
• Prior millwright, repair, pneumatical repair experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills, data entry capabilities, and following verbal instructions
• Mechanical Aptitude and interest in new CNC and precision machinery
• Life-long learner, keen on continuous improvements, product development
• Team player, "we-attitude", working as a cohesive and collaborative upper management team

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm

Wage:   $33-36/hr DOE plus Benefits, Pension and Annual Bonus
