Comptroller Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting, finance, budgeting, and financial reporting functions

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies

• Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial controls

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives

• Coordinate audits and serve as a liaison with external auditors and regulatory agencies

• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and operational efficiency

• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard organizational assets

• Provide financial guidance and recommendations to executive leadership

• Supervise and mentor accounting and finance personnel

Comptroller Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required

• CPA designation preferred

• Previous experience in banking, financial services, public accounting, or financial management strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls

• Experience with regulatory compliance and financial audits

• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
