Seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Shipping Assistant to support a busy manufacturing team in Red Wing, MN. This role plays a key part in keeping the shipping department running smoothly by preparing orders, completing paperwork, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring accuracy in all outgoing shipments. Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where precision and teamwork matter.

Shift Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm

Pay

• $16.50/hour
• Weekly paychecks every Friday

Location & Work Environment

• Must be able to commute to Red Wing, MN (not a remote role)
• Clean, organized production and shipping area
• Work closely with small teams and multiple departments
• Safe, structured environment with clear processes

Responsibilities & Duties

• Ship orders according to the specific ticket — pick, prepare, and package items accurately
• Process all required shipping paperwork — ensure documents are completed and submitted correctly
• Maintain work aides for document control — keep forms, labels, and records organized
• Keep the picking/shipping area clean and safe — follow safety rules and maintain an orderly workspace
• Communicate with other departments — support smooth workflow between production, shipping, and office staff
• Demonstrate good judgment when problems arise — report issues and complete corrective action forms when needed
• Attend scheduled training and meetings — stay informed on updates that affect job performance
