Responsible for driving company trucks and trailers, safely operating commercial mowing equipment, and ensuring daily routes are completed on time. They act as the main liaison between management and clients on-site.
Core Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operations: Safely operate and maintain zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and backpack blowers.
  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and direct crew members to ensure routes are completed efficiently without sacrificing quality.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all lawns, edges, and landscaping meet strict company and client standards before leaving a property.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, ensure the proper use of PPE, and conduct on-site tailgate meetings.
  • Client & Job Management: Address customer requests or concerns professionally and complete daily paperwork or mobile route apps.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–3 years of commercial lawn maintenance experience, with proven supervisory or leadership skills.
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license (a CDL or clean motor vehicle record may be required depending on trailer weight).
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with horticulture, turfgrass management, and basic mechanical troubleshooting for equipment.
