Assistant to the General Manager (Bilingual Mandarin/English)
We are seeking a highly organized, bilingual (Mandarin/English) professional to support the General Manager the establishment and growth of a startup U.S. manufacturing operation. This unique opportunity to join an exciting environment where you will gain exposure to business operations, customer relations, human resources, international trade, procurement, and project coordination.
The ideal candidate is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, possess strong computer skills, enjoys working with people, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the General Manager.
- Assist with special projects, business initiatives, and cross-functional coordination.
- Facilitate communication between U.S. operations, overseas teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and business documents.
Customer Service & Business Support
- Assist in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Communicate with customers regarding inquiries, orders, delivery schedules, and service needs.
- Review customer orders and change requests and coordinate with internal departments.
- Track order status and help ensure on-time delivery.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support market research and customer data analysis.
Human Resources & Office Administration
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and personnel documentation.
- Help coordinate employee training and development activities.
- Maintain attendance records and other HR-related administrative processes.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Assist with policy administration and compliance documentation.
International Trade & Procurement Support
- Assist with international trade documentation and administrative processes.
- Support communication with suppliers, logistics providers, and business partners.
- Help coordinate purchasing activities and vendor communications.
- Maintain accurate records related to shipments, orders, and procurement activities.
- Support compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Exposure to international business, import/export operations, & or supply chain processes preferred.
