Our client in Willoughby is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse & Fleet Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, operations, and compliance of a fleet of school transportation vehicles. This hands-on role is responsible for coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, vehicle detailing, parts inventory, GPS and dash camera systems, and light facility maintenance to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and vehicle detailing to ensure fleet safety and reliability
Schedule and track outsourced maintenance and repair services with vendors and service providers
Maintain accurate vehicle, driver, maintenance, and compliance records
Monitor fleet performance and ensure adherence to transportation regulations and company safety standards
Manage vehicle parts inventory and fleet-related equipment
Oversee GPS tracking, dash camera systems, and related technology
Communicate maintenance schedules and operational updates with drivers
Assist with driver concerns, emergency situations, and transportation-related issues
Perform light facility, warehouse, and grounds maintenance as needed
Support day-to-day fleet and transportation operations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Understanding of vehicle maintenance concepts and fleet operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GPS tracking, routing, or fleet management systems
Experience in transportation, logistics, fleet management, or warehouse operations
Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and maintain accurate records
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
