Service Technician – Water Systems

Starting Pay: $22/hour (with growth to $26–$29/hour after probation)

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Service Technician for a reputable local client. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to build a long-term career in a growing industry.

Position Overview

The Service Technician will travel to customer locations to service and maintain water systems and water conditioners. The ideal candidate is technically capable, dependable, and able to manage their time effectively in a field-based role.

What You’ll Do

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and commercial water systems
• Safely operate a company vehicle for daily field service (6–8 hours driving)
• Diagnose issues and provide effective, customer-focused solutions
• Manage daily schedule and work independently while maintaining productivity
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be insurable)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
• Comfortable working in confined or tight spaces

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience in water treatment systems
• Background in HVAC, plumbing, or other mechanical trades
