A growing retail and hospitality organization is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support across store locations and corporate environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting and enjoys solving day-to-day technical issues that impact business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1–2 support for hardware, software, workstation, and POS-related issues across retail and office locations
• Troubleshoot Windows-based systems, network connectivity, and user access issues
• Support device setup, configuration, imaging, deployment, and replacement for end users
• Assist with account management, password resets, permissions, and system access requests
• Diagnose LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity issues and escalate more complex network problems when needed
• Support Microsoft 365/Google Workspace applications and other core business systems
• Assist with endpoint protection, malware detection, and basic cybersecurity response
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in ticketing systems
• Provide responsive, customer-focused support to non-technical retail and hospitality staff across multiple locations

Project-Based Responsibilities:
• Assist with store openings/closings including IT setup, device configuration, and network readiness checks
• Support POS system rollouts, upgrades, and troubleshooting during deployment cycles
• Participate in hardware refresh projects including workstation replacement and imaging at scale
• Assist with office or store relocations including equipment teardown, transport, and reinstallation
• Support implementation of new software tools and assist with user adoption and basic training
• Contribute to IT improvement initiatives such as documentation updates, process streamlining, and ticketing enhancements
• Assist in cybersecurity awareness initiatives including user training support and phishing response coordination
• Support inventory tracking and asset management for IT equipment across multiple locations

 

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of IT support, help desk, or desktop support experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments and basic networking (TCP/IP)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common business applications
• Experience supporting end users in a fast-paced retail, hospitality, or service environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across distributed locations
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices is a plus

 

Preferred Experience:
• Multi-location retail, hospitality, or distributed workforce IT support
• Experience with POS systems or retail technology environments
• Exposure to endpoint management, imaging, or device deployment tools
• Google Workspace or hybrid Microsoft/Google environments
