Quality Assurance & Supply Chain Associate

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance & Supply Chain Associate to support our quality management and purchasing operations. This role is critical in ensuring products meet established quality standards while helping maintain efficient procurement and supplier management processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers. Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Support

  • Assist with contract reviews, corrective action reports, and documentation required for AS9100D and ISO quality management systems.
  • Support and maintain the approved supplier program, including tracking supplier certifications and maintaining quality and training records.
  • Coordinate customer satisfaction surveys, including preparation, distribution, and tracking.
  • Organize and maintain quality-related documentation and records.
  • Review mill certifications and prepare company certifications as required.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving supplier and mill claims by coordinating with vendors, reviewing documentation, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support the review and resolution of customer claims through communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Supply Chain & Purchasing Support

  • Review supplier order confirmations against purchase orders to verify pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier confirmations.
  • Maintain supplier open-order reports and monitor order status to support accurate delivery tracking.
  • Update and maintain material pricing information to ensure purchasing accuracy.
  • Support inventory allocation against open customer sales orders.
  • Assist with supplier communications and purchasing activities to ensure continuity of supply and on-time delivery.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, purchasing, and supplier performance.
  • Travel occasionally to support field audits, supplier audits, inventory audits, and other operational activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field; or
  • 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or quality support; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including:
    • Excel
    • Word
    • Outlook
    • PowerPoint

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based work environment.
  • Frequent sitting, computer use, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasional travel may be required for audits, supplier visits, and operational reviews.
