Monday through Friday – 8am to 5pm

$24hr to $26hr depending on experience.

One of the region’s largest, most dynamic, and innovative processors of both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, serving both the commercial and industrial sectors, is seeking an Office Assistant / Customer Service representative to join their team in Sun Valley.

Summary: The Office Assistant / Customer Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for customers and visitors while supporting daily office operations. This role combines cashiering, customer service, administrative support, and dispatch assistance responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, bilingual in Spanish and English, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers in person and over the phone.
  • Process customer transactions and perform cashiering duties accurately.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with dispatch operations by coordinating communications between customers, drivers, and yard personnel.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding services, pricing, and general information.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and transaction documentation.
  • Support daily administrative and office functions as needed.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
  • Previous customer service, receptionist, cashier, or office support experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and email.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
