We are seeking multiple reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our Welding Department as Production Associates. This position does not involve performing welding tasks. Employees will load parts into fixtures while automated robotic equipment completes the welding process.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, can maintain focus on quality, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position is not transit assessable when working days
Key Responsibilities
- Load parts into fixtures for robotic welding operations
- Inspect completed parts from bins and racks to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail during inspections
- Follow written work instructions and verbal directions from supervisors
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Safely handle and lift parts weighing up to 10 lbs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or production experience is an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
- Position is located within the Welding Department
- Employees are not required to perform welding
- Noise levels in the department are minimal compared to other manufacturing areas
- Automated welding equipment includes air suction systems that remove hot air from completed parts
- No welding fumes are present in the work area
- Regular air quality testing to ensure a safe and comfortable work environment
- Safety is a top priority, and all required training and protective equipment are provided
