Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a local company seeking a Claims Specialist. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities include assisting policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and funeral homes with policy and claim inquiries by phone, email, and written correspondence. The role also includes opening new claims, researching policies, documenting customer interactions, and following up on outstanding claim requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Claims experience preferred but not required
