Lab Technician Needed!

A growing company in the Coppell area is looking to add a Lab Technician to their team!

Shift: Monday to Friday, schedule may vary based on business needs

Pay: $19/hr

Lab Technician Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples for analytical and microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, and environmental samples
• Test for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemical analysis
• Apply aseptic techniques in daily lab work
• Maintain media and reagents for microbiological testing
• Monitor and report inventory of lab supplies
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, and preventive maintenance
• Conduct quality control checks including incubator temperatures and control testing
• Follow assigned processes and procedures in accordance with company standards
• Maintain accurate records and lab documentation
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
• Communicate findings and updates in a timely manner
• Support team goals and assist with scheduling priorities

Lab Technician Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate degree in Life Science or 2 years of lab experience preferred
• Knowledge of food testing laboratory practices preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to complete required training
