Summary:  The Houseman supports the Housekeeping Department by assisting with the
cleanliness, organization, and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, storage
rooms, and service areas. This position plays a vital role in ensuring guests experience
a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained resort environment while providing support to
Room Attendants, Laundry and other hotel departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain resort pool deck, to include raising and closing of the umbrellas,
cleaning, wiping and ensuring chairs and tables are clean, emptying trash cans
as needed, cleaning pool bathrooms, and organizing/arranging pool furniture
each day.
• Deliver linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to housekeeping staff and guest
floors.
• Remove soiled linens, trash, and other items from guest rooms and service
areas, as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets, storage rooms,
and work areas.
• Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, elevators, stairwells,
lobbies, and restrooms as directed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests from the reception desk such as extra
towels, linens, pillows, cribs, and rollaway beds.
• Assist Room Attendants with room preparation, deep cleaning, and special
projects as directed.
• Transport furniture, equipment, and supplies as directed.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items according
to resort procedures.
• Ensure compliance with resort cleanliness standards, safety guidelines, and
brand requirements.
• Support resort operations during high occupancy periods and special events.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to guests and
team members.

 Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in English Language
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

 Physical Requirements
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull housekeeping carts, linen carts, and equipment.
• Work in various indoor and outdoor conditions as required.
