Junior Buyer / Purchasing Coordinator

Mississauga, ON (Onsite)

 

Our client, a leading supplier within the aerospace industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Buyer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Senior Buyer, this role plays a key part in supporting daily procurement and administrative activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with approximately two years of purchasing experience who is looking to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions and accurately enter orders into the CRM system
• Assist with inventory management, including system updates and cycle counts
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide updates on delivery timelines and product-related issues
• Process credit notes and arrange replacement materials as needed
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Support the Senior Buyer and leadership team with additional purchasing and administrative tasks as required

 

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
• Working knowledge of ROP (Reorder Point), SOQ (Standard Order Quantity), and MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite five days per week
