The TIG Welding Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and welding various components for the

production department as per drawing specifications, safety procedures, approved weld procedures

and quality assurance requirements.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Welding & Fabrication Execution

 

1. Perform high-quality welding on stainless steel and aluminum components in accordance with industry specifications and standards.

2. Set up and operate welding equipment while following proper safety procedures at all times.

 

Blueprint Reading & Technical Interpretation

 

1. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures.

2. Apply specifications accurately to ensure proper fit-up and weld quality.

 

Quality Control & Inspection

 

1. Conduct inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality control standards.

2. Identify defects and take corrective action to maintain consistent weld quality.

 

Team Collaboration & Communication

 

1. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute welding projects efficiently.

2. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to meet project timelines and goals.

 

Safety & Work Environment

 

1. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

2. Follow all required safety protocols while operating equipment and performing welding tasks.

 

Material Handling & Lifting Operations

 

1. Perform complex crane lifts as required to support fabrication and assembly activities.
