Salary: $17.75/hr + Shift Differential

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for operating forklifts to move, store, and prepare materials across multiple warehouse locations. This role handles receiving, inventory accuracy, pallet preparation, and all RF‑scanner–based inventory transactions.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Document interpretation — Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and pick tickets.

  • Forklift operation — Proficient with sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts; follows all safety procedures.

  • Computer & RF scanner use — Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems.

  • Physical requirements — Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending; ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs; adequate vision for close, distance, and color tasks.

  • Inventory management — Understanding of warehouse operations, cycle counting, and stock accuracy.

  • Organization & time management — Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to schedule needs.

  • Attention to detail — Ensures accuracy in inventory handling and documentation.

  • Work ethic & reliability — Dependable, safety‑focused, and committed to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Forklift material handling — Load/unload shipments and move inventory between bin and floor locations.

  • Pallet preparation — Wrap pallets and prepare goods for shipment.

  • Receiving verification — Sign for and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

  • Damage inspection — Inspect incoming goods and initiate quarantine procedures when needed.

  • Cycle counting — Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.

  • RF scanning — Record all inventory movements using barcode scanners.

  • Screen‑prompt workflows — Follow on‑screen instructions and troubleshoot basic issues.

  • Continuous improvement — Participate in process‑improvement activities.

  • ISO compliance — Follow all applicable ISO 9001, 13485, and 14000 procedures and complete required training.

  • Safety adherence — Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.

  • Housekeeping — Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.

  • Other duties — Perform additional tasks as assigned.
