Welder (TIG Root / MIG Pulse Fill & Cap)

Position: Welder
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Schedule: 6 days per week (overtime may be required)
Location: Beaumont

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Welder with strong skills in TIG and MIG Pulse welding to join our team. This position requires the ability to perform TIG root passes followed by MIG Pulse fill and cap welds while consistently producing high-quality work that meets X-ray inspection standards. Candidates must be safety-conscious, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG root welds on pipe or structural components as required.
Complete MIG Pulse fill and cap welds to company and customer specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Set up and operate TIG and MIG Pulse welding equipment.
Produce welds that meet or exceed quality standards and pass visual and X-ray inspection.
Inspect completed work for defects and make necessary repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with fitters, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Proven experience with TIG and MIG Pulse welding.
Ability to perform TIG root with MIG Pulse fill and cap welding procedures.
Must be able to read blueprints and welding specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Requirements

Must successfully pass an X-ray weld test prior to employment.
Must be able to work 6 days per week, including overtime as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.
Must follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
