This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, willing to lead themselves, and eager to take ownership of this role. This position will be tasked with the following job responsibilities:

Supervise and operate the SOR Plant facility
Operate a three-phase centrifuge
Monitor and operate various pumps and valves
Monitor tank values and gauges, and adjust the oil recovery process as required
Maintain all mechanical equipment on site
Troubleshoot and repair various equipment
Includes everything from simple gauge replacement to mechanical pump repair
Coordinate larger repairs with the supervisor
Sample and record oil ‘spin outs’ throughout the process stages
Sample and call in ‘sale oil’ to the oil purchaser
Coordinate all information to improve site including: changes to the skim oil trucking schedule and issues with any mechanical processes.
Operate a skid-steer or backhoe for various tasks
Shovel oil-saturated pea gravel or solids within the tank containment area
Pressure wash oil-saturated areas around the site
Position requirements:

Ability to self-manage (including adjusting to changing priorities, ability to self-train, handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously)
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to read and interpret gauges and flow meters
Ability to operate tablet devices
Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Must have a valid Driver License
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
