Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Pay: $17 - 21
Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7am - 5pm CST 

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team. This position plays a key role in ensuring incoming and outgoing materials are accurately processed, organized, and delivered on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Unload trucks and safely move materials throughout the warehouse
• Prepare, stage, and load outbound orders for delivery or customer pickup
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
• Pull, package, and label orders according to customer specifications
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with inventory control processes
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Assist customers, drivers, and vendors with shipping and receiving inquiries as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (certification is a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as needed
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer and inventory software experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
