We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Lagrange, GA. As a key player in our procurement process, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials that meet our quality standards while optimizing costs. Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing.
Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing requirements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Resolve any issues related to procurement, including discrepancies and vendor disputes.
Stay updated on market trends and changes in supply chain dynamics.

Qualifications

Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
