We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Lumber Handler & Helper to join our team in Torrance, CA. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a hands-on environment and are eager to contribute to the success of our operations. As a Lumber Handler & Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient handling and processing of lumber products, while also supporting our team in various tasks. Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of lumber and related materials.
• Organize and maintain inventory of lumber products in the warehouse.
• Operate basic machinery and tools safely under supervision.
• Support team members in various tasks as needed, including packaging and labeling.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding tasks and progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or lumber handling environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
