Company Information:
The Production Operator plays a critical role in co-packing operations, ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance throughout the packaging process. Unlike repetitive manufacturing roles, this position requires continuous monitoring, attention to detail, and active decision-making to maintain product integrity and meet strict food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure proper product fill, sealing, and labeling
- Verify lot codes, expiration dates, and packaging accuracy
- Conduct ongoing quality checks, including product integrity and packaging counts
- Monitor sanitation levels, including peroxide systems and adherence to cleaning standards
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations (FDA, FSMA, GMP)
- Maintain clean and sanitary work environments, including participation in Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes
- Identify and escalate quality or safety concerns immediately
- Follow all safety protocols, including working in environments with slippery surfaces
- Balance production speed with strict adherence to quality and compliance requirements
Production Operator's Pay/Benefits:

Production Operator's Schedule: Multiple schedules available
- 1st shift 6am-6:30pm Wed- Sat
- 1st shift 6am-6:30pm Sun-Wed
- 3rd shift 6pm-6:30am Wed- Sat (get off 5:30am on Sunday)
- 3rd shift 6pm-6:30am Sun-Wed
- work 3 days one week, 4 days the next week
Production Operator's Requirements:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, dairy production, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Familiarity with FDA, FSMA, and GMP standards
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple quality checks simultaneously
- Strong understanding of following structured processes and procedures
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain situational awareness in a dynamic production environment
