Salary: $10.00 per hour

Location: McAllen, TX
Pay: $10.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a packer to assist in the packing and handling of fresh fruits and vegetables in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will work efficiently to ensure products are properly sorted, packed, and labeled for distribution while maintaining quality and safety standards.

 

Job Duties

• Pack fruits and vegetables into boxes, crates, or containers according to size and type
• Inspect produce for quality, bruising, or damage
• Label packages correctly for shipment
• Maintain cleanliness of packing area and follow food safety guidelines
• Stack packed boxes on pallets in an organized and secure manner
• Follow supervisor instructions and meet daily packing quotas

Requirements

• Ability to work on your feet for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be able to work in a cold environment
• Previous experience in packing or produce handling preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
