Laser Operator - 3rd shift

9:30 pm to 6:00 am

Mon to Fri

$18.13 + $2 shift diff 

 

Job Summary:
We're seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality products that meet our customers' exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate laser cutting machines
2. Produce parts according to technical drawings and traveler specifications
3. Monitor machine cutting performance and utilization
4. Ensure product quality meets customer requirements
5. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience in manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Basic math and computer skills for operating CNC equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with laser cutting systems (e.g., CO2, fiber)
- Knowledge of CNC setup and operation
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
