Our Outside Sales Representative is one of the primary external faces of Express Employment Professionals. Many times our clients’ opinion of the company is formed almost entirely on the basis of the impression that this person makes. The Sales Representative for an Express office is a critical position and is the key person responsible for securing new business. This is done by identifying potential business opportunities in the local community and contacting key decision makers through in-person and phone sales calls.

Successful people in this role are comfortable contacting and engaging with business people at all levels, selling intangible, critical business services. This requires the ability to use consultative selling techniques (communication skills, questioning and listening techniques, etc.) and the discipline of persistently following a daily and weekly plan, with the desire to become a top performing sales professional.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Increase sales by making personal and telephone contacts with current and prospective clients, and help expand and maintain existing client accounts.
•Create daily sales plans that identify companies and offices to visit.
•Research companies and their respective decision makers in order to introduce and sell Express’ services to the right companies.
•Use your research and presentation skills to execute your sales action plans on your top prospects. Analyze individual accounts to determine potential business and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
•Advise appropriate internal staff members about client problems and develop account-specific marketing plans.
•Represent Express Employment Professionals in community, industry and private functions such as chamber meetings, job fairs, networking groups, etc.
