Evening Custodian – Temporary Leave Coverage 

Location: Redmond, OR
Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Friday: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
    Compensation: $19 per hour
    Duration: 6 months with potential extension

Position Overview

This temporary Evening Custodian role provides essential cleaning and facility support to maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized workplace. The position covers a leave of absence and may be extended depending on operational needs. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently during evening hours.

Responsibilities

Daily Tasks

Breakroom

  • Empty all garbage receptacles
  • Clean sinks, counters, microwaves, tables, and chairs
  • Mop floors
  • Wipe down ice machine face, drain area, and dish rack

Mini Kitchen

  • Empty trash
  • Wipe down counters

Offices (Including Supervisors)

  • Empty garbage and recycling
  • Vacuum floors

Bathrooms

  • Clean counters, sinks, showers, mirrors, stalls, and toilets
  • Restock supplies nightly

Conference Rooms

  • Clean tables and counters
  • Straighten chairs

Locker Room

  • Vacuum and mop floors
  • Empty garbage and recycling
  • General cleaning

Lactation Room

  • Vacuum carpet
  • Empty garbage
  • Clean counter

Weekly Tasks

Offices (Including Supervisors)

  • Wipe down desk surfaces

Hallways & Slider Door Vestibule

  • Vacuum carpet
  • Clean alcove seating

Front Entry

  • Mop tiled floor

Weight Room

  • Vacuum and mop floors
  • Wipe down equipment

Breakroom Refrigerators

  • Clean on Fridays (confirming exact expectations as needed)

Outside Janitor’s Closet

  • Move full recycling bin outside and bring in an empty one

Gowning Rooms

  • Follow Procedure RN1-00144

Butler Pantry

  • Clean sinks, empty garbage, and wipe countertops

Catheters / Pulse OX Area

  • Use floor scrubber on Fridays

Warehouse Front Hallway

  • Sweep

Monthly Tasks

Breakroom & Bathrooms

  • Use floor scrubber on tiled surfaces

Carpeted Areas

  • Perform carpet cleaning and spot/stain removal

Windows

  • Clean all interior windows

DVTs & ATMs

  • Floor scrubber on concrete surfaces

Warehouse

  • Floor scrubber on concrete surfaces

As-Needed Tasks

Offices (Including Supervisors)

  • Deep clean when staff depart or workspaces are vacated
