Embroidery Machine Operator – Wilkes-Barre, PA

We are currently hiring an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator for a local manufacturing facility in the Wilkes-Barre area. This is a hands-on role responsible for producing high-quality embroidered products while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Pay: Competitive; based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and follow work orders and design specifications
• Set up embroidery machines, including loading threads and materials
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and accuracy of designs
• Troubleshoot mechanical or design issues during production
• Inspect finished products and report any defects
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including threading, cleaning, and oiling
• Maintain organized inventory of embroidery supplies
• Save and manage digitized design files and back up systems
• Collaborate with the Graphic Arts team to test and review designs
• Support production needs and cross-train in other areas as required
• Meet production goals and maintain quality standards
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience operating embroidery equipment (Melco preferred)
• Experience with embroidery software (Design Shop 10 preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of fabrics and thread types
• Ability to read and understand English work instructions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work under time constraints and production deadlines
