Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman / Maintenance Technician to perform general repair, maintenance, and installation work across residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate is experienced in a wide range of trades, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repair
• Diagnose issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Install fixtures, appliances, hardware, and basic equipment
• Paint, patch, and finish interior and exterior surfaces as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure property upkeep
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicle in good condition
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with building codes
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, tenants, or clients regarding job status

Requirements

• 2+ years of handyman, maintenance, or construction experience
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential maintenance, property management, or construction
• Familiarity with HVAC basics or appliance repair
• OSHA safety training or certification
• Experience working on multiple job sites or service calls

Work Environment

• Varied work settings including residential homes, apartments, and commercial properties
• Frequent travel between job sites may be required
• Physical work involving standing, climbing, lifting, and bending
• Occasional on-call or emergency maintenance requests
