Summary

Our client in Cary, IL is looking for Sorters to join their 1st shift team. In this entry-level role, you will inspect small precision parts to ensure quality standards are met. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a clean, organized environment. No prior inspection experience is required — training is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect small parts carefully using a microscope and basic measuring tools
  • Look for defects or issues by comparing parts to instructions or blueprints
  • Label, sort, and move inspected parts to the correct area
  • Share sample parts with a supervisor for approval when needed
  • Communicate questions or concerns to the supervisor or team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to handle small parts using hands and fingers
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods while inspecting parts
  • Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching during the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs as needed

Qualifications

  • Ability to read instructions, write notes, and do basic counting
  • Basic computer skills (data entry and keyboard use)
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions
  • Willingness to learn and accept feedback
  • Reliable attendance and positive work attitude
