Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and efficient candidates for a Machine Operator position with a Leading Acid Battery Manufacturer. This position will pay $15.00 per hour, and hours are a Rotating 2/2/3 Schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions and to ensure that outputs conform to specifications
• Examine, inspect, and measure raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Will perform additional duties as required.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Possess High School Diploma or GED
• Has 3 months Machine Operator experience
• Able to lift up to 25lbs.
• Willing to take a Physical Exam
• Able to read documents as safety rules, operating and operator level maintenance instructions and procedures
• Capable of working in a noisy, loud environment
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots, Safety Eyewear, respirator, and earplugs.
