Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Reach Truck Operator to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for operating a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve inventory in high-rack storage areas while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and strict safety standards. The ideal candidate is experienced in warehouse logistics and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach truck and other material-handling equipment
• Move, stage, and organize inventory in racking systems up to warehouse height standards
• Load and unload pallets from trailers and storage racks
• Accurately pick and replenish inventory using RF scanners or warehouse systems
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues immediately
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and palletizing as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

Requirements

• Prior experience operating a reach truck required
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling
• Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse environments
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2+ years warehouse or distribution experience
• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Familiarity with high-rack storage operations
• Sit-down forklift experience is a plus

Work Environment

• Indoor warehouse/distribution center setting
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating machinery
• Exposure to varying temperatures depending on facility
• Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on business needs
