Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, and storage of materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. This role is critical in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, timely shipments, and overall warehouse organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
• Load and unload trucks in a timely and efficient manner
• Move, stack, and organize products within warehouse or storage areas
• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure safe operation
• Accurately track inventory movements and report discrepancies
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed (picking, packing, staging orders)
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Requirements

• Previous forklift operation experience required (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Basic reading and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year warehouse or logistics experience
• Forklift certification (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck experience a plus)
• Experience with inventory systems or RF scanners

Work Environment

• Warehouse or distribution center setting
• May involve standing, walking, lifting, bending, and operating machinery for extended periods
• Some overtime or weekend work may be required depending on workload
