The Cell Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment used in the manufacturing of wire baskets for nursery and horticultural applications. This role ensures safe, efficient production while meeting quality standards and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate wire forming, welding, and assembly equipment to produce nursery wire baskets
• Set up machines according to product specifications and production requirements
• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machinery
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Accurately record production data and report any issues to supervisors
• Assist with material handling, including loading/unloading wire and finished products
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Experience with wire forming or welding equipment is a plus
• Ability to read basic blueprints or production instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
