Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

Salary: $23.00 - $24.25 per hour

This position plays an essential role during harvest season by safely transporting harvested fruits, packaging materials, pallets, and equipment throughout production, storage, and warehouse areas. Team members help keep harvest operations running efficiently in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move harvested fruits, packaging supplies, pallets, drums, and equipment throughout the facility and warehouse
• Load and unload trucks with harvested product and finished goods
• Stack, organize, and store pallets in coolers, warehouses, and staging areas
• Support harvest operations by moving materials between receiving, processing, and packing areas
• Perform daily forklift inspections and basic equipment checks
• Follow all company safety procedures and food safety guidelines
• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the facility
• Assist with general warehouse and harvest support duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in cold and warm temperatures, wet, and fast-paced conditions
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and efficiency
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Work Environment:

• Must be comfortable working in a packing and processing facility that includes cold storage areas with temperatures ranging from - 2 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Fast-paced food production and storage environment
• Seasonal workload fluctuations based on harvest schedules and production demands
• Exposure to changing temperatures, moisture, and outdoor conditions during harvest season

Schedule:

• Full-time seasonal opportunity
• 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule
• Available shifts:
• 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM
