Quality Inspector 1st Shift(A1820)

Located in Mentor, OH

Salary: $20-$25+ Hour

Our client in Mentor is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team immediately. This is a 1st shift opportunity offering $20-$25/hr based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect machined and fabricated products to blueprint specifications
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain documentation
• Create and maintain inspection reports and quality records
• Conduct capability studies and Gage R&R activities
• Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment
• Support ISO compliance, audits, 5S, and Lean initiatives
• Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective actions
• Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Vendors, and Production teams
• Track and report Quality KPIs and process improvements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing quality experience (Quality Technician or Lead role)
• Previous weldment inspection experience required
• Strong blueprint and CAD drawing interpretation skills
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Proficient with Excel for reporting and charting
• ISO and MRP/ERP experience preferred
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills
