Trust Accounting & Insurance Operations Specialist

Location: Salem, OR

Pay: DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time

 

We are seeking an experienced Trust Accounting & Insurance Operations Specialist to join a growing professional services team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background, experience managing client trust accounts, and knowledge of insurance, bonding, legal, or financial service operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile client trust accounts with a high degree of accuracy
• Process client deposits, disbursements, and transfers
• Monitor trust account balances and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Prepare account reconciliations and financial reports
• Assist with invoicing, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, financial institutions, and internal team members
• Support insurance and surety bond processing activities
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of client funds at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing or reconciling client trust accounts required
• Strong accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration experience
• Experience in insurance, surety, legal, banking, escrow, or professional services environments required
• Understanding of trust accounting principles and financial controls
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software
