GENERAL LABOR ASSOCIATE

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Scrap Metal Sorting Associate to join a recycling facility team. The associate will work alongside another team member to sort and process metal materials that have been received onsite.

Pay/Benefits:

• $17/hour
• Long Term Temporary
• No overtime, no benefits

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Company Info:

• This position is with a metal recycling facility that receives, processes, and sells used metal materials.

Job Duties:

• Disassembling water pumps and separating component metals
• Sorting various types of copper into designated bins
• Using hand and power tools as required
• Placing sorted materials into correct containers
• Working in a fast-paced, industrial environment

Requirements:

• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment
