Industrial Blaster/Painter

Full-Time | $21-28.56/Hr. DOE |New Iberia, LA 

 

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to prep, blast, and paint industrial and modular buildings and components.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, blasting)

• Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment

• Mix paints and coatings according to specifications

• Track materials and maintain usage records

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

---

Requirements

• 1+ year industrial painting experience

• Ability to use hand and power tools

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs

• Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding

• Must pass respirator fit test and drug screen

• Basic computer skills required

---

Preferred

• Experience with industrial coatings and multi-coat paint systems

• Blueprint reading experience

• Background in construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC a plus

---

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• Overtime as needed

---

Pay

• $21.11 – $28.56/hr. DOE
