We are seeking a reliable and hardworking team member to assist with local deliveries, facility cleaning and maintenance, and refurbishment projects. This role combines driving responsibilities with hands-on work to help keep our operations running smoothly and our facility in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive company vehicle to make deliveries and pick up materials as required.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment, supplies, and products safely.
• Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the facility, including work areas, storage spaces, and common areas.
• Perform refurbishment tasks such as repairing, sanding, assembling, and restoring equipment or materials.
• Prepare surfaces and complete painting projects to maintain and improve facility appearance.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist with other general labor and maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry materials as required.
• Experience with painting, refurbishment, maintenance, or general labor is an asset.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm( must be able to work 44hours / week)
• Hourly rate: $25 per hour + 4% vacation pay

Preferred Skills:

• Previous delivery driving experience.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Experience with commercial or industrial painting.
• Facility maintenance or warehouse experience.

Experience:

• Driving: 5 years (required)
• Delivery driver: 2 years (required)
• Manufacturing facility: 2 years (required)

This position is based at a waste management facility. Employees should be comfortable working in an environment where odors associated with waste processing may be present.
