Scale Clerk (Temp-1st Shift)

Salary: $16.00/hr.

The Scale Clerk plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our agribusiness facility, ensuring accurate weighing, documentation, and tracking of inbound and outbound agricultural products. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

 

Pay: $16.00/hr 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate truck scale to weigh incoming and outgoing loads.

• Record weights, load details, and truck information accurately in the system.

• Communicate effectively with drivers, farmers, and facility staff.

• Maintain detailed and organized records for compliance and reporting.

• Monitor load quality and report inconsistencies or issues.

• Assist with general office duties and support other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Customer service experience a plus.

• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.
