Production Associate -$17-$18/hour

 

A local manufacturing company is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a desired start date within the next two weeks. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly or manufacturing environments, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow written instructions and specifications to produce high-quality products. Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (No weekends and no overtime)

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare workstations by reviewing assembly instructions, drawings, specifications, and parts lists while gathering necessary materials, tools, and components.
• Assemble products by following written work orders and manufacturing specifications accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect connections and components to ensure proper fit and function while completing multi-step assembly processes with a high level of accuracy.
• Perform quality checks and testing procedures as required, identifying and separating defective materials.
• Monitor equipment and materials for malfunctions and report any issues or deviations to the supervisor promptly.
• Utilize materials, tools, and equipment responsibly to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain a clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties, including mopping and trash removal, in accordance with clean room standards.
• Support team objectives and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Required Skills:

• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
