Medical Billing Specialist

We are partnering with a local company that provides medical alert devices and in-home emergency response systems that help seniors and vulnerable individuals maintain their independence while providing peace of mind to their families.

We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who can confidently manage billing processes, customer accounts, and payment activities while delivering exceptional customer service. Experience with EZClaim and TriZetto software is highly preferred.

What You'll Do

• Process monthly billing and maintain accurate customer account records.
• Review invoices and billing information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Post payments, process adjustments, and reconcile customer accounts.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account questions.
• Communicate with customers and family members regarding billing inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Monitor past-due accounts and assist with collections activities while maintaining excellent customer relations.
• Update account information related to equipment activations, deactivations, service changes, and account modifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and customer records within company systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing information is current and accurate.
• Prepare reports and assist with administrative projects as needed.
