Counter Sales Representative

Location: Sarasota, FL

Pay: $18.00-$19.00/Hour

Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Counter Sales Representative for a well-established Sarasota-area company. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, processing orders, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while assisting both walk-in customers and phone inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers with product inquiries and purchases

• Answer incoming phone calls and provide product and order information

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Enter orders, customer information, and sales data into company systems

• Prepare invoices and other sales-related documentation

• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory tracking

• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

• Provide exceptional customer service and build positive customer relationships

• Assist with stocking and organizing inventory as needed

• Perform general counter sales and administrative duties

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, counter sales, retail sales, or inside sales experience preferred

• Strong computer and data entry skills

• Experience processing orders and handling customer transactions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Basic inventory management knowledge preferred

• Experience with invoicing and point-of-sale systems is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move products as needed

• Frequent standing, walking, and assisting customers throughout the day

• Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting
