Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Plasma Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC plasma cutting machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting machines to cut metal materials based on blueprints and job specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Load and position materials on cutting tables using proper lifting techniques or equipment
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3+ years of experience operating CNC plasma or similar CNC equipment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC programming is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Familiarity with metal fabrication processes
• Forklift or overhead crane experience
