Job Summary: The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical housings, subassemblies, and hardware components, often integrating electronic parts and cables into finished units. Work is performed in a fast-paced production environment using hand tools, microscopes, and detailed work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to assemble components accurately.
  • Assemble mechanical housings, subassemblies, and electro-mechanical products.
  • Use hand tools and power tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers, cutters, pliers, etc.).
  • Work under microscopes or magnification for precision assembly tasks.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet engineering and quality standards.
  • Integrate electronic assemblies, wiring, and components into mechanical systems.
  • Follow ESD (electrostatic discharge) and cleanroom safety procedures.
  • Document production steps and support continuous improvement processes.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience (medical/device/electronics a plus).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a standing, fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to meet quality and production standards under supervision.
  • Microscope or cleanroom assembly experience.
  • IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 knowledge (or willingness to train).
  • Experience in electronics, medical device, or precision manufacturing environments.

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3pm
