CNC Punch Press Operator / Fabricator

Pay: $18.00 an hour

Shift and Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Location: Fort Loramie, OH

Duties & Responsibilities

• Interpret Blueprints: Read and analyze blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine exact hole locations, sizes, and tolerances.
• Material Preparation: Measure and mark sheet metal to ensure proper alignment before starting punching operations.
• Quality Inspection: Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, and gauges to verify part dimensions.
• Defect Control: Inspect finished parts for accuracy, burrs, and defects, making necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Equipment Upkeep: Maintain machinery by cleaning, lubricating, and performing basic preventative maintenance.
• Production Tracking: Keep accurate production records and report any equipment or material issues to the supervisor.
• Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience operating punch presses or working in a sheet metal fabrication environment (Preferred).
• Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and shop orders (Required).
• Precision Tools: Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, and basic shop math (Required).
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for long periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Location: Ability to reliably commute to Fort Loramie, OH (Required).
