We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Protection Installer to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint protection films and coatings to vehicles, ensuring optimal finish and durability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with auto body repair, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. Duties

  • Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of paint protection products.
  • Install paint protection films, ceramic coatings, or other protective treatments using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools.
  • Utilize buffing machines and polishing tools to achieve a flawless finish on vehicle surfaces.
  • Conduct auto body repairs or touch-ups as needed to correct surface imperfections prior to application.
  • Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including minor auto repairs, auto glass replacement, and detailing to support overall vehicle presentation.
  • Operate welding equipment and other mechanical tools safely during installation or repair processes.
  • Assist with auto estimating for services rendered and provide excellent customer service by explaining procedures and addressing client inquiries.
  • Lift heavy components or vehicles safely while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality standards.

Experience

  • Previous dealership experience or background working in automotive service centers is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with auto body repair, auto painting, detailing, or auto restoration projects.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, buffing machines, and other relevant automotive tools.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto glass installation, and general auto repair processes.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques and auto estimating procedures is advantageous.
  • Experience working with auto glass replacement or auto restoration projects is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills coupled with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing detailed work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience working in a dealership or automotive retail setting is a plus.
