Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is actively recruiting a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Sourcing Clerk on behalf of a rapidly growing client based in North Richland Hills, TX. This is a phenomenal temp-to-perm opportunity for a professional seeking stable employment with significant long-term growth potential in an expanding corporate structure.

 

In this role, you will be a vital asset to the procurement team, focusing on expanding the company’s network of trades and service providers nationwide. You will blend research, data entry, and business development to support project demands while working closely with and assisting a Senior Procurement Specialist.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contractor Research & Sourcing: Actively source, identify, and vet trade contractors across the country within specialized industries, including HVAC, plumbing, general construction, electrical, and facility maintenance.

  • Database Management: Input, organize, and maintain highly accurate contractor profiles, certifications, pricing structures, and contact data in the central database.

  • Project Estimating & Bidding: Proactively reach out to newly sourced and existing partners to request, collect, and compile competitive quotes for ongoing projects.

  • Partnership Development: Foster and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with nationwide contractors who align with the client’s service standards and corporate needs.

  • Senior Specialist Support: Assist the Senior Procurement Specialist with day-to-day operations, vendor compliance tracking, and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Experience: Prior administrative, clerical, sourcing, inside sales, or customer service experience. Familiarity with construction, contracting, or procurement environments is a plus but not required.

  • Research Mastery: Strong research abilities utilizing web tools, online registries, and professional networks to locate specialized trade professionals nationwide.

  • Technical Savvy: High comfort level with data entry and navigating CRM systems or procurement databases. Solid fundamentals in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Communication Aptitude: Confident, professional, and clear communication skills for frequent phone calls and emails to prospective contractor partners.

  • Organization: Superior time-management skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive attitude suited for a growing, fast-paced team environment.
